Cookie Policy

Last updated July 5, 2026. This policy explains what cookies and trackers Sentrix uses on sentrix.ca, why we use them, and how you can manage your choices.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and JavaScript-based trackers that operate without setting traditional cookies.

2. Our cookie categories

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled. They do not collect personal information.

Analytics (requires consent)

These help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. They are only activated after you have given your consent. Google Analytics operates under Google Consent Mode v2 — no cookies are set and no data is sent to Google until consent is granted.

Marketing (requires consent)

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies on sentrix.ca.

3. How to manage your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the button below or the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary storage (such as clearing localStorage) may affect site functionality such as language preference.

4. Consent logging

When you make a consent choice, Sentrix records the following information to comply with our audit obligations under Law 25 and PIPEDA: an anonymous session identifier, the categories accepted or declined, the policy version in effect at the time, your language preference, and the page URL. No name, email address, or IP address is stored in the consent log.

5. Changes to this policy

If we add new trackers or materially change how we use cookies, we will update this page and increment the policy version number. Existing users will be shown the consent banner again to make new choices.
